Volunteers make it work!!

This group right here... we are lucky to call them ours!

Not everyone gets a chance to play on fields as nice as the Field of Dreams! Week in and week out our players and fans show up to beautiful, groomed fields. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into the maintenance of the grounds! There are a few guys in our community that have stepped up to help out every week!

The three community members in the middle of the picture are active volunteers who have selflessly given countless hours to Hermiston Little League by mowing every week and being available at the drop of a hat to help! They are grandpas, dads and huge HLL Fans!

We’d also like to thank Jim Morasch who has volunteered also!

Now, to those two on the ends.... The work that goes into making baseball and softball fields this nice is probably unknown by the majority of people who play on them! Here at Hermiston Little League we are so blessed with THE BEST guys around. Leading that crew are these two exceptional men who are so knowledgeable about field management! We can't thank these guys enough!!

We are extremely lucky! While these aren’t the only two, they are the ring leaders! Not only do these guys keep these fields looking amazing, they are experts at all things irrigation, growing, spraying, design, mounds, dirt and maintenance. Not only do they volunteer with fields, but they are coaching multiple teams and being exceptional dads.

Our players have the very best because of the work of these five guys and the many other volunteers who step up! Thank you all!
