USA Baseball Bat Standards

As of January 1st, 2018, all bats used in Little League must meet the USA Baseball bat standard. As you consider purchasing a bat for your player, it is important to check that the bat meets these standards, or it will not be allowed for use in practice or during play. The best method to ensure your bat meets the USA Baseball bat standards is to visit www.usabat.com and confirm the bat selected is listed.

Other items to check for are the USA Baseball logo or a 2-5/8" Barrel. Note that some sizes of bats even with the USA baseball logo have been decertified due to performance outisde the accepted standards. Here is a list of bats that have been decertified. Decertified Bats
