Parent volunteers needed

We need you parents! We can't be a successful club without you. Please email [email protected] to sign up for one task.

Quick descriptions:

Field lining: follow a diagram and use stakes, strings, and a rolley thingy (some technical name) to spray paint lines on the grass. My husband, Dustin, will be at both sessions to assist. He has multiple skills and probably knows the name of the rolley thingy.

Team manager: not as scary as it sounds. We hand you a piece of paper and you read it out loud to the parents on our sideline. Maybe help the timekeepers unfold our table? Smiles optional but preferred.

Timing/Score table: don't know anything about lacrosse? No problem! As long as you can use the stopwatch on your phone, you're good to go. You do need to be able to pay attention long enough to follow the cues of the ref. Being able to count would be an added bonus, but we can get you an abacus if needed.

End of year picnic: pick a day...probably end of May/beginning of June. Tell me the day and I'll book the pavilion. Schmooze other parents into bringing some food. Sign up sheets in Sign Up Genius are a cool tool. Easy peasy!

Spring picture coordinator: call a photographer (I may even be able to find a name from previous years). Ask for package prices and maybe stalk their social media page? Find a day that both teams will be at home and book the date. Give parents a heads up so jerseys are clean-ish.

Mr. Stick fundraiser: can you drive? Does your vehicle hold a bunch of stuff (looking at you soccer lacrosse Moms)? Can you follow GPS? Awesome, you'd be a great pick up driver. Can you lift boxes and count well? Can you sort those buns and resist the temptation to eat them on the job? Poor penmanship? No worries; you just need to cross things off a list. If this sounds like you then the delivery table is right up your alley.
