The 2018 season is about to come to a close and we are beginning to plan for the 2019 season! The Elkridge Hurricanes will be holding elections for the new 2019 Board of Directors soon. If you are looking to get involved, the Board of Directors is currently comprised of 9 members and the make-up and structure of the board is based on the Elkridge Hurricanes by-laws and includes representation from most of the major functions within the organization including:

President
Vice-President (w/cooperate fundraising)
Secretary
Treasurer
Director of Football
Director of Operations (i.e. Equipment) 
Director of Cheer
Director of Concessions
Webmaster

Board meetings are open to all members and the general public and are normally scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month.

Board members are elected at the January General Meeting unless appointed by the Board to fill an open position, according to the organizations by-laws. If you are interested in joining the Board to fill an open position or to challenge an incumbent member, please contact the Board’s President, Matt Johnson at [email protected],  who heads the Nominating Committee. All interested individuals should respond no later than January 4, 2019.
