CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT

As a parent/legal guardian of a child involved in a program of EPYSA (Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Youth Association) in the Towamensing League, I/WE agree to abide by and follow the rules and guidelines below.

• I will promote the emotional and physical well-being of the athletes ahead of any personal desire to win.
• I will remember that my child plays soccer for his/her enjoyment, not mine.
• I will encourage good sportsmanship through my actions, by demonstrating positive support for all soccer players.
• I will provide support for coaches and officials working with the athletes to provide a positive experience for all.
• I will not openly express criticism for players, teams, coaches, or referees prior to, during, or after any game or practice.
• I will not coach or give instructions to players including my own child during games and/or practices.
• I will instill in my child that he/she treat all players/coaches, officials, parents, spectators and volunteers with respect in language, attitude, behavior, and mannerism.
• I will treat all players/coaches, officials, parents, spectators, and volunteers with respect in language, attitude, behavior, and mannerism.
• I will inform the coach of any physical disability or ailment that may affect the safety of my child or safety of others.
• I will respect the property and equipment used at any sports facility, both home and away.
• I will demand a sports event/practice that is free from drugs/tobacco, and alcohol and I will refrain from their use.The Towamensing Soccer League has enacted a “NO TOLERANCE POLICY” which will be enforced.This policy refers to any inappropriate behavior, slander, or harassment of any and all coaches, officers, officials, and children who participate with the organization.Any occurrence will be discussed by the board members and will be dealt with as a serious offense.
