HOW CAN I HELP MY PLAYER IN LITTLE LEAGUE?

Videos providing information on being a Parent at Little League

How to Support Your Little Leaguer
We get it. Winning is better than losing. Winning is important. But the most important thing is using the Little League® experience to help children develop into productive, contributing members of our communities, who live up to the Little League standards of Character, Courage, and Loyalty. Little League and Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) educate the Second-Goal Parent®, who focuses on helping children with those life lessons.

Little League Finances - What Parents Need to Know
As a parent, it’s important to understand your local league’s financial operations, and we encourage all local leagues to be transparent with their finances. Since its inception, Little League® International has been committed to giving back to local leagues so children in communities throughout the world can enjoy the game they love. Little League strives to keep the costs associated with playing as reasonable as possible, and urges local programs to do the same.

Why Parents Volunteering in Little League Are Mentors for Life
Each year, a new group of parents joins the Little League® family, as their children get set to begin their baseball or softball journey, making new friends, and having fun along the way. And, just like players need a year or two of Tee Ball or Coach Pitch to learn the game, finding a way for parents to be introduced to volunteering is just as important. For those new Little League families, we encourage you to get involved in your local league as soon as possible because it is important to start now!

Little League Pledge - Its History
The Little League® Pledge is a historical document, written in the mid-1950s, by an official of Little League. It is not, and has never been, required to be recited by any person involved with Little League Baseball or Softball.

The text of the Little League Pledge has remained unchanged since its inception:

I trust in God
I love my country
And will respect its laws
I will play fair
And strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best
