Volunteer Coaches Meeting & License
Recreation
Recreation Coaches should plan on attending the Coaches Meeting and Coaching Education on Saturday, August 4. The meeting will address important changes, updates and information for the upcoming season. NCFC Youth Staff will demonstrate how to run a session, answer questions with regards to coaching, and be a resource for all experienced or new Recreation coaches. Both head coaches and assistant coaches are welcome to participate.

If you are a new coach, you will be able to pick up any training gear or equipment for the fall season in the fitness center at WRAL on August 4th.
If you are a coach from the previous season and you need some updated gear or equipment, please feel free to stop by and we can work with you to provide you with the right materials!
U5-U8 coaches will receive ball vouchers you will be able to give to your players for the fall season. Balls are not to be picked up until the first week of practices, August 13th!
Football Braining with Raymond Verheijen

This World Football Academy 1-day course, with special guest instructor Raymond Verheijen, will take place in Raleigh on Monday July 23, 2018, hosted at WRAL Soccer Park.

All-Women’s USSF Grassroots Coaching Course in the 7v7 format
The clinic will be hosted at WRAL Soccer Park on Sunday, August 19 from 4:00–8:00 PM
Bill Furjanic, NCYSA’s Technical Director of Coaching Education & Player Development, will be the lead instructor.

7v7 Format
Sunday, August 19
4:00 - 8:00 PM
The course will meet downstairs in the Clubhouse in the middle of WRAL Soccer Park.
No playing experience or previous coaching education needed. All course participants will be women. No testing involved; some pre-course work required to earn Grassroots license.
Completion of this course gives you a portion (1 of 2 steps) of the qualifications needed to get the USSF D License. The other being an in-person 11v11 Grassroots course. This is a great chance to start your coaching education journey!
