SOCCER TOURNAMENT – COACH & SPECTATOR CONDUCT RULES
🟥 COACH RED CARD (EJECTION)
A coach will be ejected for:

Abusive, insulting, or inappropriate language
-
Threatening behavior toward referees, players, or spectators
-
Entering the field of play to argue or confront officials
-
Repeated or extreme dissent
-
Encouraging violent or unsafe play
Penalty:
-
Immediate removal from the field and surrounding area
-
Must be out of sight and sound of the field
-
Team may continue with players, but coach cannot return
-
Minimum 1-game suspension
-
Additional discipline or removal from tournament is possible by our CCYS Field Supervisors
🟨 COACH YELLOW CARD (WARNING)
A coach may receive a yellow card for:
-
Dissent (arguing decisions)
-
Unsporting behavior
-
Persistent complaints toward officials
-
Minor misconduct or sideline disruption
Penalty:
🟥 SPECTATOR EJECTION
Spectators may be removed for:
-
Abusive or offensive language
-
Harassment of players, coaches, or officials
-
Threatening or aggressive behavior
-
Sneaking a dog into the event
-
Interfering with the game or entering the field
-
vaping smoking, alcohol, vandalism etc...
-
For not following related school district policy and facility usage requirements
-
No air horns, megaphones, whistles, lasers or annoying/disruptive things
Penalty:
-
Must leave the facility immediately
-
Game may be stopped or forfeited if behavior continues (the opposing team may be awarded the win)
-
Tournament officials may ban spectator from future events
⚠️ TEAM RESPONSIBILITY

Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their players and spectators
-
All other cheering devises must not be disruptive to the players, game, raffs, spectators or event
-
Referees and Field Supervisors may:
-
Stop play
-
Issue warnings to sidelines
-
Require removal of spectators
-
Terminate the match if behavior is unsafe
🛑 GAME TERMINATION / FORFEITURE
A match may be ended or forfeited if:

A coach refuses to leave after ejection
-
Spectators refuse to comply with removal
-
Behavior creates an unsafe or hostile environment
📌 EXPECTATIONS

Respect referees and their decisions
-
Support players in a positive manner
-
No profanity, intimidation, or harassment
-
Help maintain a safe, competitive environment
-
CCYS Field Supervisors will be the end decision makers on all tournaments, games and events that we host or are in contract with.
