What is MOD?

Who is FWMSC?

The Federal Way MOD Soccer Club (FWMSC) was approved by the two existing clubs (East and West) and the Federal Way Soccer Association in 2003. MOD means that the field and number of players are modified from the full sized game played by older kids. This Club is for all Recreational players, ages 4 to 11 years old (U5, under 5 to U12, under 12) and are placed on teams based on age by their birth year. (See Age Group Chart.)

FWMSC wants nothing less than the best environment for all youth soccer players to not only love the game of soccer but also to grow in their soccer knowledge & skills.

What are the Club Expectations?

We ask that you help us achieve our goal of creating the best environment possible for our young FWMSC players, our coaches, and our parents. The following Code of Ethics have been developed to clarify and distinguish approved and accepted professional, ethical and moral behavior from that which is detrimental to the development of soccer within the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA).

Player Expectations

FWMSC players will be asked to sign and abide by our Player Code of Ethics at all times. Players are expected to attend all practice sessions and games and to be on-time and prepared. Players are expected to follow the rules and policies set forth by the Club, state, and national soccer associations and will practice good sportsmanship.
Player Code of Ethics

Parent Expectations

FWMSC parents will be asked to sign and abide by our Parent Pledge at all times. Parents will show respect to all individuals involved with the game (players and parents of both teams, coaches, referees, and field staff.)
