Pitch, Hit and Run - Saturday 3/23/19 12:00 - 2:00pm
The MLB Pitch Hit and Run Contest will take place on Saturday March 23 from 12:00 -2:00 pm
Location: Sunset Park in Vistancia (Sunset Park - 29698 N Sunset Point).
The contest will be held on the same fields where we held Opening Day Ceremonies.
We will start the contest immediately following the farm games on the lower field at Sunset Park.
Competition
The contest consists of the following:
Pitch - 6 (Six) pitches to hit a designated strike zone from 45 feet away
Hit - 6 (Six) swings off a tee to hit the ball as far as possible in the air to center field
Run - A timed sprint from second base to home in the best time possible
Winners in each age group for each competition will be asked to attend the second round competition at a location to be determined later. Last year, the winners went to the Cubs Spring training facility for the second round. Each age group will have:
All - Around Champion
Pitching Champion
Hitting Champion
Running Champion
Any competitors that tie for 1st place in the individual contests, move on to the second round.

- Copy of Birth Certificate (MLB Requirement, no exceptions, must present at event)
- Signed Waiver (online registration allows you to check a box)
