Bumper Soccer is a fast-paced and unique way of playing soccer for our younger players.
At this age, balls are constantly being played out of bounds and much time is wasted on getting the ball back in play! This format takes out the restarts and maximizes players' time actually PLAYING THE GAME! Parents and spectators sit around the field and simply knock the ball back onto the field when it goes out.
The format of this 4 week mini season is as follows:
Sessions are 55-60 minutes in length
25-30 minutes of practice time with a professional coach
25-30 minute game following practice time
Official teams are not made. Players will be divided up to play at each session.
No parents need to volunteer to coach! Parent involvement will be needed to keep the ball alive throughout the game, and at times, during practice, to assist their child with an activity.
