8-Year-Old Competitive Teams
All 7/8-year-old players have the option of trying out for the 8-Year-Old Competitive/Majors team.
8 year old competitive teams will play in the Rocky Mountain Junior Baseball League (RMJBL). The team also has the option to enter additional tournaments at an additional cost.
The league is made up of 20 high school areas throughout Jefferson County and the Denver metro area. The league is divided into 2 levels at 8 year old competitive
AAA league teams contain players of the highest skill level while AA is designed for the new or inexperienced player. By placing teams in 2 separate divisions, players will be competing against teams and other players of the same skill level. The league schedule consists of 14 regular season with an end of season tournament. Games are played during the week with 7 games at Arvada area fields and 7 games at away fields. Once the weather permits, each team will practice twice a week outdoors for at least an hour-and-a-half per practice.The season typically begins the first week of April and runs to the end of June.
