The four week week Push Performance Strength Camp is to introduce and educate players on movements and concepts of strength training. During the hour and a half sessions, we will cover how to properly warm up to throw, arm care (total body care), what certain movements should look like.
Some of the fundamental movements we will work on will be the squat, hinge and deadlift. By the end, each athlete should be able to understand how to warm up properly and why it is important, what arm care (total body care) is, and how to properly move in the gym. Too often do young athletes misunderstand how to warm up, throw, and lift. It is essential in baseball, and all sports to understand that health is maintained through proper movements and consistency. Everything learned over the four week camp will be applicable throughout the rest of the athletes career.
Each athlete should come prepared in proper attire (t shirt, shorts, proper gym/turf shoes), water, and food. If you have any questions, please reach out to either Ryan Lambrecht (
[email protected]), DJ Edwards (
[email protected]) or Joe Rosenstein (
[email protected]).
