Tee-Ball

Tee-Ball is the first available division for youngsters as early as 3 years old (but have a league age of 4) up to children age 6, who have never played baseball before. 6 year olds who have played Tee-ball before, should sign up for Minor AA Machine Pitch. These players learn the basics of the game in a fun, encouraging setting. Players hit off the tee until the final games where they are introduced to Machine Pitch. Everyone in the lineup bats through the order regardless of outs.

Machine Pitch AA

AA is a dynamic division for players 6*-8 years old where a pitching machine is used. Many basic baseball rules are in effect, although there is no scoring, no walks, no steals and a variety of other modifications designed to encourage development.

AAA

AAA is the first division that has competitive play and typically includes players 8*-10 years old. A draft is conducted prior to the Spring season to produce the teams. Most standard baseball rules are in place with exceptions such as no leadoffs and batting through the lineup regardless of defensive positions.

*For players under the league age of 9, approval from the TPLL Player Agent is required, and they must be drafted by a coach.

50/70 Intermediate

The 50/70 division is highly competitive baseball for players 11*-13 years old. A major difference compared to AAA is that only players in defensive positions bat and substitutions are made.

*For players under the league age of 11, approval from the TPLL Player Agent is required, and they must be drafted by a coach.

Juniors/Seniors

Juniors is the highest level division in Little League for 14-16 year old players. The bases are now 90 ft apart and nearly all standard baseball rules are in play. Typically there is inter-league play with other leagues in District 58.
