We are accepting High School Students with Cheer and Dance experience as Student Demonstrators/Junior Coaches to assist with teams working with girls ages 5 and up. You can earn up to 75 community service hours which will apply toward Bright Futures Scholarships. Simply bring your form from your guidance counselor to our cheer coordinator to complete, and your on your way!
Requirements:
- Enrolled in high school program or college or dual enrollment program
- Complete these 5 required forms. Turn them into the cheer coordinator before August 1st.

You can get a free physical at Florida Sports Injury Clinic. Next to the NTC. Print our 2 sided form and bring it to them to complete the front. Parent completes the back. Call before you go. Your pediatrician is also a good choice.

- Take One In-Person Class (Due to COVID-19, this class will be online.) Mid Florida just released the class that will qualify for the in-person training but is now happening online and at a much lower price, only $20! This class will certify you for 2 seasons of coaching/assisting.
Both certification trainings are good for 2 years!
- Student Demonstrators/Junior Coaches are eligible to wear the coaching polo shirt ($45)and leggings or pants ($30) and optional coaching jacket ($75) .
- Your bow is included for free!
Total Cost: $90 (Includes 2 training programs and one personalized coach polo and bow) The Training and Certification is good for 2 years!
- You do not pay the registration or uniform fee for cheerleaders. You only pay for your coach polo shirt ($45) and any optional apparel you choose.
What does a student demonstrator wear? Team polo shirt and any bottoms, like our navy leggings/pants or the uniform skirt with integrated briefs, anything except jeans, sneakers or enclosed shoes for safety. No denim is allowed. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also great additions. Shorts are not allowed at competition but are fine at games. See apparel options below.
