Good Morning Sidewinder Parents and Families! The volunteer Board of Directors has been meeting regularly to discuss options as they pertain to a Fall Baseball/Softball season. We wanted to provide you an update. After lengthy discussions; the Board of Directors has elected not to offer a structured Fall Baseball/Softball season in 2020. While many factors led to this determination, including continued uncertainty on school field access and restrictive Covid-19 safety precautions - most important is the safety of our community, players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and families. While we are disappointed in not being able to offer a structured season this fall; it is important to remember that this decision was made with the best interest of the league in mind with the continued risk of having to unravel another season in the event of another outbreak. We thank you for your understanding and continued support of the league. We are exploring other options through the Little League Sandlot program to provide a more flexible option to help get the kids on the field occasionally this fall and will provide updates. We remain fully invested in finding a way to offer a Spring Baseball and Softball season in 2021, and will continue to keep the league updated on progress through the fall months as we prepare for Spring registration open around December 1st.
