Tournament Bracket Updated 5.12(click to download)
The Board of Directors has completed the AA, Minors, Majors end of season tournament brackets and schedules.
The tournament will start May 10th with Championship Thursday being May 20th (games also on May 21st if needed for double elimination).
We will also post this on the website; but please share with your parents so they can begin planning tentative scheduling. Each tab in the sheet has each division bracket; with game times and locations.
We have shared this with the city for field reservations/prep, and with the umpire assignor. We are trying to get a 2 umpire crew for all tournament games. Assigner is working to check availability.
We will send out additional tournament game play operations as we get closer. (example - extra innings; etc)
Some items of note;
No tournament for Farm Division. Farm season ends on May 8th. Each Farm Participant receives a trophy. We will have those to the coaches soon.
Trophies for AA, Minors, Majors division tournament champions and runners up only
Traveling Majors and Minors division trophies for the Manager to keep until next year.
Tiebreakers;
AA is a random draw for seeding. No tiebreaker.
AA is single elimination tournament; Minors and Majors is double elimination
Minors and Majors will follow season standings for seeding. Tiebreakers for same record are as follows in our Bi-Laws;
- Head to Head record
- Runs allowed in Head to Head
- Runs scored in division
- Coin Flip
Practices
Tournament play can mean several games during the week. We do have some field availability for practices during tournament play, but depending on how your teams do - you may not have time; or you may not need them. We will keep you posted on available practice times for those 2 weeks.
