Yes, we are currently taking registrations for the 2021 season.  You can register HERE

Is the May & June camps for football mandatory?

While we encourage all players to attend the camps for May and June but it is not mandatory to play for the season.  However, it will give your athlete an opportunity to connect with their teams, coaches and get into shape.  We will not have any tackling during these camps but we will be going over our playbooks.

What is the required clothing/uniform for the May & June camps for football?

Please have your player wear comfortable clothes that they can run in.  They will need water and a mask, it’s a good idea to have them bring an extra mask, the coaches will have extras on hand. They will also need lots of water, we are unable to provide water for our athletes.  We will be playing on grass and cleats are preferred.

When are the May & June camps/where will it be located?

May camp will be held from May 3rd to May 19th with practices on Monday and Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm at Sycamore Valley Park in Danville on Field #6.

June camp will be held from June 7th to June 25th with practices 3 days a week on Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays from 6-8pm.  Location will be the TBirds practice field at Monte Vista Highschool.

When does the football season begin?

We have our TBird Day on Sunday, July 18th.  Football practices will begin on Monday, July 19th from 6:00-8:00pm at Monte Vista Highschool.

What is TBird Day?

Sunday, July 18th is the official start of our season for T-Bird Football & Cheer. Attendance is mandatory as it is the day where the participants and parents will meet coaches, as well as the board. All league mandated paperwork needs to be completed and turned in.  You will turn in medical cards, the medical information form, bring a certified birth certificate or passport (for new T-Bird participants only), pick up equipment and weigh in.

Don’t forget your checkbook as deposits are required for the football gear and volunteer hours. The checks will be filed and returned to you at the end of the season once the equipment is returned and the volunteer hours have been fulfilled. These checks will not be cashed prior. The deposit checks.

When & where are the football practices?

Starting July, 19th - practices will be held five days a week (Monday to Friday) from 6:00-8:00pm. After our jamboree, currently scheduled for August 21st, practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm and games on Saturdays until the end of the season.

While we understand that this is in the summer and might conflict with some of your plans, please do your best to have your athlete attend as we are mandated to have 10 hours of conditioning for each player before they are allowed to wear pads.

What is a Medical Card for Cheer & Football and where can I pick it up?

Medical cards are required by the league and need to be signed by a doctor to be cleared to participate.  It will need to be filled out in the same calendar year as our season in 2021.  Because we need these forms to be on a specific card stock and color, we have three different pick up locations:

  • 182 Pulido Road

  • 722 Pagosa Court

  • 5014 Kerry Hill Street

What equipment is required for football and what do the TBirds provide?

Integrated practice pants with full hip, tail, bone, thigh & knee pads (available online or at most sporting good stores). Mouthpiece (you will want to purchase a few) & football cleats (no screw in cleats allowed, must be molded cleats).

TBirds will provide each participant with the following equipment: Practice jersey, practice shorts, protective gear (including helmet, shoulder pads & knee pads), game day pants, socks, equipment bag and jerseys for home & away games.

When are games played & when do they begin?

Games will be played on Saturdays.  Games are scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 28th (dates are subject to change). Times and locations will be announced as the season gets closer.

What are the health & safety protocols?

We are committed to following the state and the towns health ordinances.  We will have temperature checks, no communal water stations & no shared food.  Please remember to do your part by keeping your athlete home if they are sick or not feeling well.

How can I get involved and volunteer?

As a nonprofit organization we rely on volunteers!  No job is too small and we need all hands on deck to make this a great season for our athletes.  Please reach out to [email protected] and let us know what you would like to help with.
