We Are Always Looking for Volunteer Coaches
And Are Ready to Train You to Become One!
Our goal is to equip volunteer coaches so that they can confidently lead training sessions. With support from the directors of coaching and staff coaches, each volunteer coach will learn the game from the ground up (if you’re new to it, or learn more if you’re familiar with it). In order to do this, we commit to providing each volunteer coach with:
Explicit instructions and demonstrations to support both technical and tactical skill training including the basics rules of the game, passing, dribbling, positioning, ball movement and more.
A written guide for each training session at the start of the season
Assistance and support from Directors of Coaching and Staff Coaches every step of the way.
What volunteer coaches will be expected to do is:
Attend an initial coaches' meeting
Pass background check
