Baseball evaluations are for players in the majors and minors AAA divisions. ALL PLAYERS REQUESTING TO PLAY UP IN A DIVISION MUST ATTEND EVALUATIONS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Evaluation results are used to ensure players are in the proper division for safety and competitive balance. Nominated managers and HLL board members evaluate players and provide ratings. These are shared with managers at the team drafts to promote even teams. The kids may be rusty and nervous. Please be supportive and positive and do not coach from behind the nets.
Baseball age is determined by your age as of August 31, 2023.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Players must have all of their proper equipment - helmet, glove, bat, cup and sneakers. Players will be called out into the practice area to warm up with an adult. Then they will be thrown some grounders, line drives and lobs to evaluate throwing, catching and fielding and hit off a live pitcher in a batting cage. No bats will be swung outside the batting tunnel.
