Please set up your players name as (Player Name); (Division); (Team name)
Example: Alex AA Yankees or Alex Rookie Mariners
If you have multiple players in SDLL, it is
necessary
to set up each account using a unique email address. We recommend one parent email assigned to player A and another parent email assigned to player B.
Finally, share the link for your player’s page with your friends and family and encourage them to donate!
Slugging
Slugging will occur at Herndon and Southern Boundaries parks
April 21-22, 2023
The more donations a player collects, the more swings he or she is awarded in the hitting competition.
3 for $25
5 for $50
8 for $75
10 for $100
12 for $125+
All teams (except T-ball) that raise a total of $1200 or more by their scheduled slugging time will be awarded 12 swings regardless of the amount each individual player has raised. Work as a team and get the maximum swings for all players.
The top 3 sluggers will be awarded a trophy at the End of Season Tournament.
Can’t Attend SlugFest?
No worries, your player can still work with their team and win!
All players raising money for SlugFest win an SDLL Pennant and are entered in the annual SlugFest Raffle.
SlugFest Raffle prizes include Duke Baseball and Softball camps or clinics, private baseball lessons, Durham Bulls, Duke, UNC and Little League World Series merchandise, SDLL Spirit Bags, Dick’s Sporting Goods gift certificates, and many more gift cards and merchandise from local restaurants or stores.
The top 15 SDLL players who raise the most money for SlugFest, and the top 3 fundraising T-ball players, will be offered the opportunity to participate in the Durham Bulls Field of Dreams night on June 4th.
