This form is for Waiver administration for the Spring 2023 Baseball Season.
This
form must be used to request a waiver for a player to be placed on a team in a
different baseball division than is standard for the player’s “League
Age.” The player’s official “League Age”
is determined by Little League International. All players are required
to register for the Division as determined by their birth date. All players are eligible to petition to play
up to the next higher division or play down to the next lower division. All petitions are heard by the VP for review
and approval.
For any transfers from TBall to Coast or Coast to Farm a Safety Evaluation may be required to ensure that a player is physically capable of playing in that higher division.
For anyone requesting to transfer from Farm to Minors, Minors to Majors, and Majors to Juniors, our Little League Local Charter rules require those players to attend a Little League Tryout and be evaluated by the Head Coaches, either VP of Farm & Minors or VP of Majors & Juniors, and any independent evaluators that might be asked to observe. In order for a player to waiver into those higher divisions they will need to be drafted in the first 6 rounds of the 'S' Draft. If a player requesting a waiver is not selected in those first 6 rounds, their name is taken off of the draft board and they are asked to play with their 'League Age' appropriate division.
