Northeast Little League Softball (NELLS)

Northeast Little League Softball (NELLS) is an all volunteer organization serving girls from ages 5-15 years old with softball programs in Fort Wayne, Indiana and adjoining townships. If the child is a resident of Fort Wayne, or if your child attends any school (public or private) located in Fort Wayne, then the child is eligible to play softball in NELLS. In addition, if the child is a resident of an area that is not served by a Little League organization, then the child may participate in NELLS.

Our teams play throughout the Fort Wayne area in the Indiana 10 Little League District.  Our home fields are located at Brookside Park off Maplecrest Road – a private park owned by Brookside Church.  A large porton of NELLS budget goes towards maintenance of these fields and facilities (mowing, trash pickup, field supplies, etc) during spring, summer, and fall.

Since NELLS is a non-profit organization where all of our funds go directly to support the athletes we are solely dependent on volunteers to manage, coach, and support the league.  We encourage parents, family members, and friends to volunteer and support the players.  The more we as volunteers can put into the league, the more the girls can get from their participation.
