Chartered with Little League International in 1957, Indianola Little League is one of the oldest, continuously operated little leagues in the state of Iowa.Originally, the league played its games on fields located at the Warren County Fairgrounds. After years of planning, the site located at South 15th Street was developed and the current facility inaugurated in 1998. The current facility has 4 little league fields and 2 regulation fields one of each is lighted.State of the art Musco lighting was introduced for the 2009 season on 2 fields. Indianola Little League has teams in the Tee ball, Pee Wee, Minor, Intermediate, and Senior divisions, offering teams for boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 16 years.As many as 625 players have participated in Indianola Little League in a given season. Notes: Indianola Little League is a member of Iowa District 5 and our All-Star teams have won numerous district titles. Indianola Little League alumni include former MLB player Casey Blake. Indianola Little League is managed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees and is supported by volunteer coaches and parents.
