Little League California District 61 is an IRS and FTB recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose sole mission is the administer and provide athletic opportunities - specifically via baseball and softball - to the youth of our District's membership. We are a not-for-profit corporation under the laws of the State of California and are registered & compliant with the California Attorney General's Registry of Charitable Trusts. Just like the local league, California District 61  carries liability insurance to help ensure all those who participate in our programs are covered. However, it's important to keep in mind that your personal insurance in all instances of injury is primary, with the insurance program provided by Little League being secondary. Each league has protocol for reporting & recording injuries, so it's important to contact your league's Safety Officer and/or President immediately in the event of an emergency. It's also critical to reference your leagues ASAP Safety Plan!
