The Wisconsin RockHounds is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.  As such, teams are funded directly from the player fees assessed during the beginning of the season.  Our coaches, managers and other leaders within the organization volunteer their time and expertise to continually assists players develop their skills.

Yearly expenses for the Rockhounds travel tournament team run about $10,000 per season.  Being a 501c3 gives each team a big advantage in helping with fundraising, such as requests for charitable contributions, corporate sponsorship and sales of fundraising items to help cover the expenses. 

The Player Fee for our Select Teams are;

U8-U10 --> $1,050
U11-U12 --> $1,250
U13-U14 --> $1,500

Player Fees include:  12 weeks of professional instruction from Brew State Baseball Academy, a full uniform package (consisting of 2 Uniforms, 1 Hat, 1 Helmet, 1 Pair of Socks and 1 Belt); local tournaments, league, indoor practice facility, outdoor practice facility, insurance, and other miscellaneous costs. 

Player Fees do not include: spirit wear, additional professional training and destination tournaments (Cooperstown, Cal Ripken, etc.) 

If the team is aggressive in fundraising they can greatly reduce their own out of pocket expenses.  The player fee can be paid in full or broken down into payments as worked out by each team.
