2017 SFTYCA Registration Guide & Checklist

Registration opens Monday May 15th at 8:00AM and will run through May 28th on our new website!  

 

Late registration will be available May 29th at 8:00AM and will close on June 11th. Fundraising and payment plans are unavailable for late registration.  A late registration fee of $25 will also be charged.

Blue Sombrero Accounts

If you have an existing Blue Sombrero account you will have to create a new one that is specific to SFTYCA.  Please click on the key at the top of the page that says Register to create your account and continue with registration.

 

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available this year to help spread out the cost of the $160 registration fee.  If you choose to take advantage of this plan the payments will be billed on the dates specified in the given amount.  You may also decide to pay your registration fee in full.

 

Payment #1 - May 15th $54.00

Payment #2 - June 15th $53.00

Payment #3 - July 15th $53.00

 

Cheerleader Skills Form

Once you have completed your registration you will need to fill out the online cheerleader skills form.  This will need to be done for EACH cheerleader.  Please fill out the form that corresponds with their grade level for NEXT years squad.  It can be found under registration/required forms.

 

Mandatory Merchandise

Attached to this email is the list of mandatory merchandise for the upcoming season.  We will be holding mandatory uniform try-ons on Sunday, June 4th from 4-7pm at the South Fayette Senior Center. (Located in the rear of the municipal building)  Please have your cheerleader wear a swimsuit under their clothing.

 

We are implementing a Sign-Up Genius for try-ons this year.  Please follow the link to sign your cheerleader up for a time to attend try-ons.  Each cheerleader needs a time slot.

Optional Fundraiser

In effort to offset the cost of our mandatory merchandise we are offering an optional fundraiser.  This year we are partnering with Joe Corbi.  For each item sold you will earn $5 towards your mandatory merchandise purchase.  Your fundraising total will be deducted from your total due at uniform try-ons.  Please pick up your fundraising packet at one of the following times:

 

May 15th SFTYCA Night at Bubba’s Burgers 5-9pm

May 21st SFTYCA Open Board Meeting 4-6pm

Mandatory Fundraiser

EACH FAMILY is required to sell eight $5 lottery tickets.  The $40 for tickets will need to be prepaid upon distribution during camp and is non-refundable.  Date in August TBD.

 

Volunteer Commitment

For EACH CHILD registered every family will need to make a volunteer time commitment.  Exact time commitment will be given when we know how many home games we have and how many families are registered.

 

You will need to provide a $75 REFUNDABLE check (for each child) payable to SFTYCA (postdated 12/1/2017) to be returned at the end of the season if your volunteer hours have been fulfilled.  This check will be due at mandatory uniform try-ons on June 4th.

 

Camp/Practice Schedule

Attached to this email is our camp & practice schedule.  Also attached is the waiver required by Perfection for your cheerleader to participate in camp.  Please print the attachment and complete it for each cheerleader.  The waiver should be turned in at mandatory uniform try-ons.  If not turned in on the day of try-ons the  waiver must be mailed to our Camp and Practice Coordinator, Christie Cole, NO LATER THAN JUNE 30TH, 2017.   Camp & Practice information is readily available on our website as well.
