New Challenger Jamboree Website

The Jake Hardison Memorial Challenger Jamboree will soon be getting its own website!

In 2024 we will host our 32nd Annual Challenger event!

The concept for the Jamboree was started in 1992 by former Virginia District 8 Administrator Jake Hardison, to provide an event for special needs children similar to the Little League World Series but in a non-competitive environment. The event gives boys, girls, and adults with disabilities the opportunity to play baseball and socialize in a positive atmosphere.

Formerly known as the Challenger Tournament and Fun Weekend (1992-2005) and the Little League Worldwide Challenger Jamboree (2006-2011), the Jamboree was renamed in Mr. Hardison’s honor after his passing in 2012. The Jamboree offers a dinner and themed dance on Friday night, carnival, concessions, activity zone, Saturday lunch, Sunday breakfast, and baseball games on Saturday and Sunday.  The Jamboree offers games in two divisions: Little League Challenger (age 4-19) and Senior Challenger (age 15-up).

The event has a Facebook page which can be found by clicking the link below:
