Come explore the art of origami!

Origami is a traditional art form of paper folding that employs some fine-motor skills, patience, and a desire for a fun challenge! You will leave with some amazing new skills.

Mr. Mousel is hosting Origami camps in the middle school library for both beginners and intermediate folders alike. You can learn the basics, and then use that to make more complicated designs with an expert there to help you through the steps.

Your fee includes a folding kit that is yours to take with you when you are finished, so that you can keep developing your origami skills at home!

Finished designs range from simple boxes and birds to more complex animals, flowers, patterns... the potential subjects for folding are endless!

Coed Little Spikes Volleyball Camp

This camp is for boys or girls going into Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This is a fun intro into the sport of volleyball by playing lots of games and drills with balloons and beach balls! 

3rd through 5th Grade Volleyball Camp

This camp is for girls going into 3rd grade through 5th grade. This is a fun camp that introduces the basic skills of volleyball. 

6th through 8th Grade Volleyball Camp

This camp is for girls going into 6th grade through 8th grade. This camp provides fundamentals and review of skills required to succeed at the middle school level and beyond.

This camp is for boys going into 4th through 8th grade in the 2024-2025 school year. The camp will focus on fielding, hitting and throwing fundamentals and introduce players to many of the skills and drills that are part of our high school program. The camp will be run by high school coaches and players.

Players will be provided a fun, competitive, productive soccer experience that includes positive interactions with coaches and peers alike. There will be an emphasis on multiple ball touches, skill work, and games in small as well as larger contexts. Please bring plenty of water and protective gear for shins. Bringing a ball is optional yet encouraged!

Skill Players Camp - Please read full description

Cost: $30 per player…..Centers are free and encouraged to come and snap. 

For all skill position players but especially aimed at those who have an interest in playing Quarterback. Skills covered will include snaps, throwing routes, meshing handoffs with a back, etc. While this camp is aimed at improving the skill set of our quarterbacks, it will also be beneficial for running backs and receivers.

Who? Students in Kindergarten-12th grade who are eager to learn and practice the game of tennis

What? A chance to learn about and improve your tennis skills, a perfect opportunity to play

Where? Hamilton High School Tennis Courts

K-5 Players with little or no tennis skills. Lessons will stress strokes, forehand, backhand, serve and volley. Beginner session will feature “Quick Start Tennis Program”

Balls are lower in compression; they bounce lower and don’t move as fast so they are easier to hit. This allows kids time to get to the ball and helps them develop optimal swing patterns. Racquets are sized for small hands, and the courts are smaller and easier to cover. All that equals more fun.

6-8: Players who have had lessons, but require additional work on basic strokes. Skill improvement will be achieved through drills and play situations

9-12: Players who have had lessons and mastered the fundamental strokes

Hamilton Youth Cheer Camp Material: Come work with Hamilton Varsity’s Cheerleading Team to learn the cheers, chants, jumps, stunts, and skills it takes to be a Varsity Cheerleader. We will have team bonding, games, dance/gymnastic skills, tumbling technique, and so much fun!

Hamilton Rocket Cheerleading for 3rd-6th Grade is a sideline cheer program for girls going in to 3rd through 6th grade the fall of 2024. Practices will begin in late August. The girls cheer at home Rocket Football games played by our Hamilton 5th-6th football teams on Saturday mornings starting the first Saturday in September and running through the middle of October. 

Hamilton Flag Football is available for players going in to Kindergarten through 3rd Grade for the fall that they are playing. Practices and games all take place on Saturday mornings starting on September 7 and ends on October 5. The only equipment players need to supply are non-metal cleats. The goal of the Flag football program is to begin to teach players basic skills and introduce them to the game of football. We will spend time the first couple of weeks in camp style drills and progress to flag games as the season continues.

Hamilton Rocket Football is full contact football available for players going in to 3rd through 6th Grade for the fall that they are playing. Practices will begin in mid-August. Scrimmages and games begin the Saturday after Labor Day and run through the middle of October. Practices are held during the week, usually practicing 2 or 3 times per week. Games are typically held on Saturday mornings.

Hamilton Rec Soccer is open to all Hamilton kids from PreK through 6th Grade. 

The Fall Rec Soccer season begins in mid-August with weeknight practices. Games will occur on Saturday mornings beginning late-August and running until late-October. 

Kids are placed in divisions based on their grade unless a parent requests that the child be placed in a higher level. Please note that not all requests to move a player up to a different level will be granted. Level placement is ultimately determined by the Team Coordinator and Hamilton Rec Soccer Board. Y5/K teams will be co-ed, while the 1st/2nd,3rd/4th, and 5th/6th divisions will have separate boys and girls teams.
