Founded in 1959, Franklin Township Little League celebrates 60 years of service to the community and youth in 2019.  FTLL is located on the southeast side of Indianapolis in the small town of Wanamaker and provides Little League sanctioned programs in the Rookie (Ages 4-8), Minor (Ages 9-10), Major (Ages 11-12), and Junior / Senior (Ages 13-16) Leagues.

Over the years, many volunteers have built FTLL to as many as 500 players per season.  Because of the commitment and dedication of countless volunteers, this league has been recognized as one of the largest and best ran in the state.  That same commitment and dedication continues today with the FTLL Board of Directors who volunteer countless hours to ensure the players have a great baseball experience.  It continues with all of the community sponsors, who year after year, show their support by donating to the league.  FTLL Managers and Coaches have shown that same level of commitment by volunteering their time week after week with players during the season.  It has taken the effort of thousands of individuals over the years to build FTLL to a league celebrating its 60th anniversary!
