Little League Baseball Beyond Majors!
Little League fun, developmental, and recreational baseball does not need to end at age 12! In fact, just the opposite!
District 41 operates divisions for kids baseball age 13 and 16 who have completed Majors. In these divisions, teams from different leagues across the district play against each other. These divisions offer traditional rules baseball, including lead-offs, unlimited steals, pick-offs and balks. Players get to play what they watch on TV every night!
If you love to play baseball, and want to have fun playing with your friends and represent your city, these are great divisions for you.
We offer two unique divisions:
50-70: For players baseball who played in Majors last year and are League Age 13 this year. This division features a mid-sized field (70’ bases and 50’ pitching) which fits this age group. This size makes for a dynamic game, and is a great stepping stone to the full-sized field. We utilize excellent fields such as Alpine American, Santee National and Rancho de Oro!
60-90: For players baseball League Age 14 - 16, and for some all-star level 13’s, this features play on a full-sized field (90’ bases and 60’ pitching). Games at this level are played at Alpine American and Santee National. Also at this level teams will play against teams in our district as well as other districts.
If you are focused on other sports or activities, but aren't ready to stop playing baseball, you will find opportunities here. If you are playing in a select "academy/travel" program, and getting good training, but not getting much game time or not getting to play your favorite positions, we have options for you too.
The schedule is similar to Majors - two games per week, one during the week and one on the weekend. Each division will have a regular season tournament at the end, and then an all-star tournament for those selected.
Sign up with your local league. If a league does not have enough players to field a team, they will combine with neighboring leagues!
Every athlete who signs up will have a home with us on a team!
