What is "Play it Forward"?

Play it Forward is a newly-launched initiative by the Freeport Little League.

The purpose is: To provide gently used sporting equipment to children to promote access to team sports. The goal is to offer collection sites to allow community members to donate equipment that is sitting unused in their garages and storage spaces for redistribution to parents and players who have a use and a need for equipment.

Baseball Bats
Equipment Bags
Batting Gloves
Batting Helmets
Cleats
Facemasks
Gloves
Baseball Pants

When and where can the equipment be donated?

Items can be dropped off during any practice or game days at either field, any FLL Event or to any board member.

Freeport Little League offers hundreds of kids in the area the opportunity to play Little League Baseball, where they learn fundamentals of the sport, as well as the concepts of sportsmanship, team building, honesty and good work ethic. More importantly, it helps build the foundation for our youth to become health conscious and disciplined.
