- 12 run mercy rule (if games end with a run differential of more than 12 the run differential will be reverted to 12)
Rec Rumble Tournament Rules
- No New Inning after1 hour 15 minutes Drop dead at 1 hour 30 minutes during pool play.
- No infield/outfield warm ups between innings - Pitchers get 3 warmup pitches
- When the drop dead time is reached, the score reverts to the previous full inning unless the home team took the lead during the inning. Drop dead means the game stops where it is; no matter score/inning/count.
- Outgoing coaches are responsible for prepping the fields for the following game.
- 5 runs per inning except the 6th inning would be unlimited (if reached)
- Pitching – All regular season rules apply - 10U rules from first 2 weeks of season (coach fills in after 4 balls/no walks)
12U, 10U and 8u Division
- Any combination of any travel players cannot pitch in more than 2 successive innings (ie., if two travel players get the first six outs of the game, only non-Travel players can pitch the third inning)
- Regular season pitch count rules apply
Playoff Qualifier
1) Win/Loss/Tie - Point Accumulation (Win = 3 points; Tie = 1 point; Loss = 0 point)
2) Head to Head Record (Only used if two teams are tied. If three teams or more are tied, head to head will not be used)
3) Total runs allowed
4) Coin Flip
For playoffs only-
- No new inning after 1:15. No drop dead time. If the home team is ahead after 1:15 and the bottom half of the inning is reached, the game is complete.
- If the No new inning time limit is reached and the score is tied, the bases will be loaded with the three previous batters occupying the bases and both teams will be given the opportunity to hit.
- Last hitter from the previous inning at 1st base
- Hitter before that in the lineup at 2nd base
