1 - When is registration for soccer?
Registration for spring soccer opens in January and registration for the fall season opens in April.
2 - Where do I register?
All registration is done online via a link provided to our registration site. Once registration is open the link to register will be added to our website and posted to our Facebook site.
3 - When are the seasons?
Recreational (intramural): The spring season runs from mid March until late May. The fall season runs from early Sept. until early Nov.
Travel: The spring league season runs from mid March until late May. The fall league season runs from early September until mid Novemeber. Depending on the coach, some travel teams play year round.
4 - When does practice start?
This varies for rec and travel. In the Spring our travel players will normally start in early March. Our recreational players will start mid-March. For the Fall the travel players could start as early as July or August if they are playing preseason tournaments. Most recreational players won't start until the beginning of Sept.
5 - I registered but haven't heard from my child's coach?
Recreational: You will hear from your coach about a week before practices start to inform you which day you will be practicing. Please be patient as it takes time to get all teams assigned following the close of registration.
Travel: Travel evaluations are held late April to Early May to determine the teams for the following Fall season. You should hear from a coach within a month of evaluations as to which team your child has been placed on. The teams that are formed in the Fall run from August 1-July 31 so they remain the same for the Spring.
6 - What age does my child have to be to play? We have teams starting at U4 (under 4 years old) so this means that kids can start at 3 years old. We have teams as old as U17 playing so if there are enough kids they could play up until 16 or 17 years old.
7 - What does my child need to play? - The only requirement is every child must have shin guards and a ball. We recommend soccer cleats for when the fields get wet, and yes the kids will play in some rain.
8 - Where are the games played? The games are played at the Amity AC fields. The address is 55 Amity Park Rd, Birdsboro, Pa. 19508 (Same location as the Amity Pool). Travel teams will play half of their games at opposing team fields.
