Purpose
1. Encourage and equip student athletes in their relationship with God, with each other and with themselves.
2. Help students develop healthy physical fitness, habits and perspective.
3. Develop adults (coaches, commissioners, etc.) as disciples of Jesus Christ and to lead children and youth into lives of discipleship.
Philosophy
The Athletic Association recognizes that sports are a tool of discipleship. Participation in sports should lead to spiritual, social, mental and physical growth.
Sports should be balanced with other activities including (but not limited to): family, church, school and other extra-curricular activities. Students, parents and coaches should maintain the proper context for sports in the life of the Church.
