The Hill City Softball program was established to support the development of softball skills for Lynchburg’s youth in the community. This program is sponsored by the Lynchburg City School Senior Staff, although program is not tied to any Lynchburg City High School.
The objective of Hill City Softball is to imprint firmly in our participants the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, teamwork, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens
The HCS program will focus on teaching fundamental softball skills and basic strategies. Participant’s grade’s range from 5th to 8th. Program will be played during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. All practice and home games will be played at E.C. Glass High School softball field.
