No Wrestling Experience Required!

The parent volunteers are an important part of the Hershey Wrestling Family. You will find that wrestling is unlike any other sport, and we need each other to get through the highs and lows of this sport, and we are able to do this as a family.

Your support at our hosted events helps us fund additional opportunities for our wrestlers.  Hershey Wrestling has been able to provide specialized clinicians, equipment, gear, more mat time and its own academy, as well as special, team- and character-building events for our wrestlers beyond the school-provided funding.  

Please consider volunteering your time at our events and donating drinks and food to be sold in the concession stand so that we can continue to provide opportunities to promote success and a love of wrestling in your athlete.

No wrestling experience is required to volunteer.  There are opportunities to help with collecting door fees, registrations, concessions, table workers... come on, you can watch a clock and throw a towel out on the mat... right? 

Are you concerned that you don't know wrestling's scoring system?  No worries!  You actually only use a few buttons on the score clock and there will be others that will help.  Someone else is writing down the scoring as it happens.  It is fun to work together!!! Many laughs!!!
