The Huron Jr. Chiefs firmly believe that the children of our community are the future leaders. With this conviction, our mission is to offer a football and cheer program that fosters an environment where children can have fun, acquire and enhance basic skills, understand the game's rules, thrive in a positive social setting, learn teamwork, and enhance their physical well-being.
To ensure fairness and development, our league has established and enforces a policy that guarantees equal playing time and instructional opportunities for all participants. Our primary focus is on player development and ensuring that everyone enjoys the game. We emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship, which is expected from everyone involved - players, parents, spectators, and coaches alike.
As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, we are committed to this mission. Whether or not you choose to volunteer, we kindly ask for your support in our endeavors. Our board's objective is to create a nurturing environment where children can learn and compete. We strive to maintain competitive teams and facilitate close games.
At Huron Jr. Chiefs, we firmly believe that every child should have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. Financial constraints should never be a barrier to participation. If you require assistance or wish to discuss financial scholarships, please feel free to reach out to us at
