Floresville Little League Registration Help
BASEBALL
Tee Ball Coed : Players league age 4 and 5.
Minor - Coach Pitch Baseball (CPBB): Players league age 6 and 7. 5-year-olds may play Coach Pitch if they have completed a season of tee ball.
Minor - Pee Wee Baseball (PWBB): Players league age 8. This division is for children that may have played coach pitch and need another instructional year of play.
Minor - Player Pitch Baseball (MNBB): Players league age 9 &10 generally play in this league. Must attend tryouts to be drafted. Players league age 8 may be drafted to a Minor League team, if they attend tryouts. Players league age 11, which are not drafted to a Major division team, will play in the Minor division.
Major Baseball (MJBB): Players league age 11 & 12. Must attend tryouts to be drafted. If necessary, players league age 10 could be drafted to fill teams. The diamond uses 60-foot base paths and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
Intermediate - 50/70 (INTBB): Players league age 12 & 13. The Intermediate division provides a good transition from the "little league field" size to a full size (High School) field. This division gives the players an opportunity to learn and develop the skills and strategies necessary for each position in "full-rules" baseball, which is beneficial as they prepare for upper levels of little league or high school baseball. The 70-foot base paths and 50-foot pitching distance is more suited to the increasing size and strength of players at this age level.
Junior (JRBB): Players league age 13 & 14.
Senior (SRBB): Players league age 15 & 16.
SOFTBALL
Tee Ball Coed: Girls league age 4 and 5.
Minor - Coach Pitch Softball (CPSB): Girls league age 6 & 7. 5-year-olds may play Coach Pitch if they have completed a season of tee ball.
Minor - Pee Wee Softball (PWSB): Girls league age 8 may play in this modified Coach/Player Pitch division.
Minor - Player Pitch Softball (MNSB): Girls league age 9 & 10. Must attend tryouts to be drafted.
Major Softball (MJSB): Girls league age 11 & 12. Must attend tryouts to be drafted. If necessary, girls league age 10 could be used to fill teams.
Junior Softball (JRSB): Girls league age 13 & 14.
Senior Softball (SRSB): Girls league age 15 & 16.
