Youth of the Year

This program promotes and celebrates service to Club, community and family; academic performance; moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability. The Youth of the Year program is a year-round tool for fostering young people’s character, personal growth and leadership qualities.

Youth For Unity
Youth For Unity promotes and celebrates diversity and combats prejudice, bigotry, and discrimination.

Keystone Club
Keystone is our most dynamic teen program. It affords teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. They conduct activities in three areas: academic success, career exploration, and community service.

Triple Play Sports Club
This nationally recognized program teaches boys and girls to make healthier choices and develop lifetime habits that promote good nutrition, daily exercise, character development, and overall well-being.

SMART Moves
SMART (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) Moves activities, for ages 13-16, hone decision-making and critical-thinking skills, as well as teach how to avoid and/or resist alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and premature sexual activity.

SMART Girls
SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls ages 13-18. Club girls explore their own and societal attitudes and values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships with peers and adults.

Passport to Manhood
Passport to Manhood promotes and teaches responsibility in Club boys ages 13-18. Through highly interactive activities which engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior, each participant receives his own “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth.

Junior Staff
For Club teens ages 13 to 18, this program guides young people in preparing for a career in Boys & Girls Clubs and/or other service professions. Through participation in Junior Staff, teens will develop interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and a sense of community engagement.

Diplomas to Degrees
This program helps young people who may be at risk of dropping out of school develop the academic, behavioral and social skills needed to be successful in school and beyond, utilizing mentoring, tracking, and communication to help ensure academic success.
