PRYB - K-1 Girls & K-Boys Co-Ed Program 2024-25

K-1 Girls and K- Boys Co- Ed Developmental Program

Begins in November and runs through the end of February.

Program will be a progression of skill development clinics on passing, dribbling and ball handling.

Strong emphasis on development of fundamental skills.

Fee includes a T-shirt

*This is a closed gym practice, meaning parents drop their child and pick up - no spectators permitted. No exceptions.

Pine-Richland Youth Basketball offers kids of all ages the opportunity to compete, learn, and have fun!

Season will start the beginning of November and through the end of February.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: Please do not request players to be placed together on teams. Our program does not work in that manner.

SNOW DAY POLICY: If the PR School District is closed due to snow or inclement weather, all scheduled evening activities are cancelled. When schools are operating under a one or two-hour delay, evening activities are on as scheduled. If school is closed on Friday, all Saturday’s activities are as scheduled unless otherwise noted.

COACHES AND ASSISTANTS NEEDED: Please indicate this on the registration form.

REFUNDS: Players who are trying out for the school team will be refunded the registration money if they make the team! Simply email Blair Gantz at [email protected] for a refund request.

SITE MONITORS: During game play, parents will be placed on a rotating schedule of monitoring the door and hallways leading up to the gym space.

CLOSED PRACTICES: All practices are closed. This means that parents will drop off and pick up only. No spectators. No exceptions.

There is a $3 registration fee that goes to the company that processes the registration.

Pine-Richland Youth Basketball offers kids of all ages the opportunity to compete, learn, and have fun!

**Preseason program is OPEN to the entire community!!! You do not have to be a PR student to participate!!

Program overview:

* Boys and Girls 2nd-6th grade

*1 hour skills training by Run The Show Coaches

*Strong emphasis on development of fundamental skills

*All Training session held at Pine-Richland Youth Center

*Max: 30 players per group.

*Players are required to bring their own basketball

Mondays (Begins September 23, 2024 and ends October 28, 2024 )

Girls' 4th-5th Grade 7:00-8:00pm

North Star Dek Hockey- Fall 2024

NORTH STAR DEK HOCKEY

Age groups: 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15

The fall 2024 season will run from September 7th- November 2nd.

Games will be played on Saturdays between the hours of 9-2PM with the specific schedules TBD.

Practice will occur during the week Tues-Thurs with the tentative age level schedule as follows: Please note these practice day/times are subject to change if necessary.

Tuesday ages 4-6 from 6-7PM

Wednesday ages 7-9 from 6-7PM

Thursday ages 10-12 from 6-7PM

Ages 13-15 Saturday Games Only TBD

We are a community league and as such we limit contact and encourage sportsmanship. We do utilize a scoreboard and honor wins and losses in all age groups!

Referees are provided for the older age groups (Coach ref 4-6)

League Fee: $75.00

Jersey Fee: $28 if you already have a jersey and it fits, no need to purchase new.

Location: Richland Township Dek Hockey Rink-Bakerstown, PA

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are in need to parents to help out during this league. Various positions are available. If we do not get enough parent help, we may be forced to cancel the age group where we fall short. Never hesitate to reach out to [email protected] to find out how you can help. Please note that in certain occasions coaches may ask parents who are watching to help out. It is a group effort!
