2021 Uniform situation:  Please read before registration
We are switching uniform styles due to the ones we have been using since 2014 are being discontinued.
This years 5th graders would have ordered the new style last spring when we ordered uniforms.
6th - 8th grade players who already have a uniform, have the old style.  We MAY be able to get a few of them on closeout, but no guarantee.
The styles are not too different however, and if players / teams are ok, you can have both uniform styles on the same team so not everyone has to re-order a new one.   I will confirm with everyone once registration closes their uniform preferences to verify I have correct information before I place the orders.
Below are the uniforms.
The one on the Left is the new style, with the white trim and piping.  The Right is the old uniform with the closeout in the corner.

Amery Volleyball Spring Booster Season

New for 2021 due to Covid restrictions:
As we manage the season in our current Covid environment, things may change that we can't predict or control.  We will do our best to keep you informed with enough time to plan accordingly.  Please keep your child home if they are feeling ill.

**  Practice times may be shorter or more spread out in time or in location (using various schools) to minimize the number of players in the gym at 1 time
**  Amery is only able to host a total of 2 outside teams for a Saturday tournament, no concessions, and only 2 spectators per player (if you have more than 1 player on the same team you still should only have 2 spectators)
**  Each hosting site is dictating their own rules of how many teams are allowed and how many spectators.  I would assume concessions won't be available at any location.
**  Players and coaches will be expected to wear masks at all times.  Sanitizer will be available and equipment cleaned.
**  Because things can change so quickly...it is possible we could be scheduled for a tournament, and at the last min, that host site may no longer be able to
host...and that tournament cancelled.

General Booster information:

Who:  Girls in 4th – 8th grade during the spring season

What:  Boosters is designed to offer an opportunity to introduce young players to the FUN game of volleyball and then help them improve their skills and team work as they develop for the Middle School and High School seasons.  Players will learn the basic skills and volleyball rotations.

When: Practices will start in March.  A skills and drills session may also be added, but details will be forthcoming.  The coach for each team will layout practice dates, but are generally 2 nights a week on M, T, or Th starting at 6pm when the gyms are open.  Possible Saturday tournaments run March 13 – May 15th.  Tournament dates, once confirmed, will be available at www.gnbl.org.

Why:  Because Volleyball is fun to play!  Girls will be active and get to work on a team.
