South Colonie Lacrosse Club is an athlete/child centered non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and develop youth through high school lacrosse in the South Colonie community by providing activities and programs that inspire participation and fun for all participants while preserving the integrity of the game. Through proper guidance and quality leadership, South Colonie Lacrosse Club assists its’ members in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being. By supporting the virtues of character, courage, and loyalty, the South Colonie Club is designed to develop outstanding citizens as well as outstanding athletes.

Vision

We envision a future that provides the South Colonie lacrosse community the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy, and ultimately embrace the shared passion of the lacrosse experience.

ROOTS of the Game:

As the South Colonie Lacrosse community (Players, Parents, Volunteers, Coaches and Board of Directors) we want to always work to respect the ROOTS of the game:

• RULES: We refuse to bend/break the rules to win.
• OPPONENTS: Value and recognize that a worthy opponent brings out our best, and we take a "fierce and friendly" attitude into competition.
• OFFICIALS: We respect officials even when we disagree with them.
• TEAMMATES: We never do anything to embarrass our team (on or off the field). We fully support and encourage all teams.
• SELF: We live up to our standards of honoring the Game, even when others don't.
