Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities available for parents.  The volunteer opportunities include:

 - Head Coach
 - Assistant Coach
 - Team Manager
 - Softball Committee

Volunteer Requirements

New state legislation has been passed and was effective July 1st, 2015. This new legislation will affect all of our organizations' volunteers. This new law states that every prospective volunteer (for all sports) must obtain the following clearances every three years.  

1. Act 34 – Criminal Record Check from the Pennsylvania State Police

2. Act 151 – Child Abuse History Clearances from the Department of Human Services

3. Act 114 – FBI Fingerprint Clearance OR The Volunteer Affidavit
 - The FBI Fingerprint Clearance Form is only required if you have NOT been a continuous resident of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years.  
 - The Volunteer Affidavit is used to verify that you have lived in Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. 
 
New Softball volunteers will also be required to complete the Little League Volunteer Form, which must include the requestor's Social Security Number on the completed form. 

If you have completed this in the past, a Little League Returning Volunteer Form will be required.
