HISTORY
For 35 years now, rugby clubs from all across North America have traveled to Nashville for this extraordinary event. Held in March each year, the Bash continues to provide youth (started in '04), college, men's and women's teams with a high quality, entertaining weekend of rugby to kick off the Spring season. Last year more than 110 teams enjoyed good running rugby, festive music and the great camaraderie that has come to define the Nash Bash. We are expecting nothing less in 2019!
The U19 Nash Bash provides the chance for Middle School and High School rugby teams to dust off the cobwebs and prepare for the upcoming Spring season with three games in a friendly format. We separate the U-19 Bash into three brackets: Middle School; U-19 Girls Division; and U-19 Boys Division (A & B teams)
PARTICIPANTS: We need at least 30 players (would love to get up to 60 players), and at least 6 parents/chaperones, to participate. The tournament will be open to all Edina players and will be treated as a touringside, where everyone plays.
DATES: Depart 1pm on 3.7.2019 - return 11:30am on 3.10.2019
TRANSPORTATION: Fly Southwest Airlines Minneapolis - Nashville and reverse on the return trip. All coach bus transportation is included for travel in Nashville.
MEALS: All meals in the total cost.
LODGING: Four (4) players per hotel room, and two (2) parents per room. The actual hotel is TBD.
DIVERSIONS:
Play in 3 games.
Visit the historical sites in Nashville.
Enjoy the music and food the city has to offer.
COST: The cost per participant (player) is estimated at $750. Some of this cost may be defrayed by fundraisers.
· Participants are required to pay in full by February 1st, with a down payment of $150 due on 9/30/2018 and $400 for flight due on 1/25/2019

Players traveled to Scotland.
February 2016 - Ireland Tour
Players traveled to Dublin, Ireland and played games in Sutton and Clontarf. Watched professional games in Dublin and Cork. Trained with the coach from Trinity College. View The 2016 Rugby Tour Video Here.
February 2014 - England Tour
Players traveled to Gloucester and Rugby, England. The Club was undefeated in England.
February 2012 - England Tour
Players traveled to London England. Trained with the London Wasps professional rugby team. Played top ranked Newbold-on-Avon RFC in Rugby, England.
February 2011- Las Vegas Tour
Players competed in the Las Vegas Invitational and watch the National 7's games.
February 2010 - England Tour
Players competed against the top ranked team in Alyesbury and Rugby, England.
