The SCCAAMFL family welcomes you ...

Code of Conduct

Parent Code of Conduct

Children, as you know, develop differently and at different rates. They react differently to the same pressures not only as their peers, but also than adults.

In the Southern Chester County All-America Midget Football League we are trying to give young people who play a good and worthwhile experience that will develop who they are as athletes and members of our society.

The relationship with the adults must be positive. Our kids are not playing to satisfy the ambitions of adults.

Teamwork and effort are as important as winning. Never ridicule or shout at the kids for making a mistake or for losing. Praise them for the hard work they have put into each game and practice. As parents and supporters of our children, please praise them, positively coach them or remain quiet while on the side lines.

When the final whistle blows, indicating the end of the game, set an example by applauding for both teams as your players shake hands to show good sportsmanship towards their fellow players.

Never publicly question the referees' decisions. If you have a question or issue approach your child's coach and allow the coaching staff to handle these situations properly and positively.

Recognize the value and importance of our coaches. They sacrifice their time to help our young people, both on and off the field.

If you cannot abide by the Code of Conduct, then the Southern Chester County All-America Midget Football League would insist that you do not attend our games out of respect for our players, coaches and fellow spectators.

The league has adopted a policy of withdrawing the registration of any player who's guardians that fail to meet our acceptable behavior policies at a loss of expenses you may have occurred upon joining the Southern Chester County All-America Midget Football League.

Player Code of Conduct

As a valued member of the SCCAAMFL, I will conduct myself with dignity, pride and respect for my coaches, fellow players, referees, parents/guardians and myself. I will come to practice on time with a positive attitude. During the games I will be respectful of the other teams and coaches. I will not trash talk the other team, coaches or referees. I understand that I am not here for the satisfaction of others, just the growth of myself. Playing the game with respect is the most important part, not winning. I promise to always give my best for the sake and pride of my team.
