I would like to introduce myself to all of you.  My name is Carl Williamson and this is my first year as an Operating Manager in the Candor Youth Association.  I have a history of coaching for the CYA, as well as head coaching experience for the Trumansburg baseball program.  I have also been an Elementary Physical Education Teacher for the Ithaca City School for the past 11 years, and have spent the past 9 years specifically at Fall Creek Elementary in Ithaca.  Although I am not originally from Candor, I have lived here since 2003 and have two children in the Candor school district.  I know what a fantastic community we have here, and have met countless wonderful, helpful, giving people.  Many of whom I would consider my family.  This is what excited me to take this position when it was offered to me.

Within the Baseball program there are many wonderful things already in place, such as quality instruction from quality coaches, and many eager people that want to help. I want to make things easier for these people. I plan on being here for awhile, so my focus is both short term and long term, realizing that the things I envision for this program and community are not going to happen over night.
