Boy, 10, dies 'unexpectedly' during his Long Beach Little League game

10-year-old Lazar LaPenna loved the @Mets and loved life. He died on Friday during a Little League game in Point Lookout. His dad - the coach - told us that Lazar hit the ball, ran to first base and then died of an epileptic seizure. He was diagnosed with epilepsy several years ago. Our hearts are with his family and the entire Long Beach community.
