Effective July 1, 2015 any adult who is volunteering for a role in the Little League that has routine interaction with children must obtain background clearances prior to volunteering.

The required clearances / background checks for volunteers are listed below:

• PA Criminal Background Check:  Free for Volunteers. https://epatch.state.pa.us
• Child Abuse History Clearance:  Free for Volunteers. https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS
• Little League Background Check: For Volunteers: Basic Volunteer Form

If you have not been a resident of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years there are additional clearances required:

• FBI Fingerprints/Record Check: Federal Criminal History Record check and fingerprints are also required for volunteers that are not 10-year residents of PA. *Please note that there is a fee associated with this record check and volunteers are responsible for payment.
