A.S. Junior Elite's Director and Trainer is Ian Glover, an Englishman with a wealth of experience in youth soccer and long term athletic development. After graduating the University of the West of England with a First Class Hons. in Sports Coaching, Conditioning and Rehabilitation, Ian arrived in the United States working with the New York Red Bulls and has subsequently spent the past eight years with the Teaneck Stingrays.
Despite town residency requirements, in his eight years, Ian elevated the Stingrays from a Club competing in the localized NCSA League, to one that doubled in size and successfully competed in the EDP League across the North East. Notable successes include:
- EDP and MAPS League & Tournament championships
- Top 10 U.S ranked Team
- Indoor State Cup Championships
- NYC FC & New York Red Bulls 5v5 Tournament championships
- Players invited to train for the U.S Youth National Team
- Players recruited for the New York Red Bulls
- Former Players receiving a Division One College scholarship
